Working with sportsmen and sportswomen to learn more about vector-borne disease

Thank you to everyone who collected keds and ticks in 2018 and 2019. We sent out 1,000 collection kits and received back 536 keds from 260 kits!

We still need your help though. Previous research focused on keds on deer but now we want to know how keds interact with YOU, the hunters. We need specific information about when and where you encountered keds, so please visit the How to Participate page for the details you should collect. Once you’re familiar with the project, you can complete a survey about how many keds land on and bite you.

You can also visit our About page for more information on the project.

Make sure you check out the News page for current updates, including results from ongoing research.
